We are seeking an experienced
Distribution Director
to join on a
6-month fixed-term contract
to cover a period of long-term absence. This is a critical leadership role overseeing
two distribution centres in Milton Keynes
, ensuring operational stability and driving improvements across logistics and supply chain operations.
The Role
As Distribution Director, you will:
* Lead and manage day-to-day operations across two distribution centres.
* Oversee
planning, forecasting, and alignment with manufacturing sites
.
* Support and enhance international logistics activity, with a particular focus on the
US market
and exports.
* Provide strategic insight, assessing current operations and recommending improvements for long-term success.
* Operate with autonomy and authority, making decisions and driving delivery while working as part of the senior leadership team.
What We're Looking For
* Proven leadership experience running a
logistics or distribution centre
.
* Strong background in
exports, planning, and forecasting
.
* Experience of
international logistics
– ideally with exposure to the US.
* A proactive, hands-on leader who can hit the ground running and deliver impact quickly.
