Are you a high-achieving graduate seeking classroom-based experience and considering a step into teaching?
An ambitious all-through school in Hounslow is looking to appoint an Academic Mentor to join their team from September. This Academic Mentor role is ideal for a graduate who has achieved excellent GCSEs, A-Levels, and a strong degree in a subject like English, Maths, Science, or Humanities. Youll be working as a teaching assistant, supporting learning in the classroom and leading targeted sessions with pupils who would benefit from additional support.
As an Academic Mentor, you will be matched with subject classes where youve previously excelledwhether through a university degree, A-Levels or tutoring experience. Youll be guided by class teachers and the SENCo to help deliver effective interventions and reinforce key concepts. This Academic Mentor role is a fantastic opportunity to build experience before pursuing teacher training.
