Hourly Rate: £12.50 (plus holiday pay, circa £14.00 per hour in total)
Working Hours: 10am – 6pm, 10 hours per week
Contract Duration: 3 months - fixed
Vita Student's next-level apartment design offers a variety of studios to suit our summer guests. We offer style, luxury & comfort to our residents, surrounded by premium amenities and a vibrant city life. We’re looking for a seasonal Housekeeper to deliver a luxury, home-from-home cleaning service for our guests’ studio apartments whilst ensuring our premium site & facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
* Provide an exceptional, personalised room cleaning service to guests by ensuring their studios are maintained to a clean, healthy & presentable standard. Working towards designated schedules, cleaning duties include but are not limited to: dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, anti-bacterial cleaning of surfaces and making beds.
* Ensure our facilities are being looked after respectfully by guests.
* Maintain the upkeep of our premium site & facilities.
* Be on hand, delivering solutions to issues or challenges that may arise.
* Be a point of contact for any potential incident or emergency that may occur onsite.
* Maintain waste management areas adhering to health & safety regulations, ensuring potential hazards are addressed / cleaned / tidied / reorganised as required.
* Using a smart phone / tablet, record & manage each studio clean: each studio clean is to be photographed prior to, and at the end of each clean.
* Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate needs to the Assistant Residence Manager or Residence Manager. Assist in ordering stock to maintain appropriate inventory.
* Housekeepers must understand and follow COSHH regulations to protect their health and safety when using cleaning chemicals.
Qualifications / Experience
* A well-versed housekeeping professional with experience in large, multi-room residence facilities such as accommodation buildings, hotels or hospitals.
* Our operations run seamlessly with the support of a variety of technology systems and software; our Housekeepers must be technologically astute.
* Good understanding of COSHH regulations and practices.

* Flexibility: Our facilities are open to residents 24 hours a day, 356 days a year including bank holidays. Where festive and religious celebrations require time off, we will try to accommodate; however flexibility from our team is imperative to be available as required to ensure continuous service to residents.
