Baltic Recruitment are currently recruiting for Permanent Account Relationship Manager (All Levels: Standard to Senior), joining our client's Head Office in Darlington. This role is Office Based (Hybrid working available following successful completion of probation).

They offer two progression levels within this role:
Account Manager
Senior Account ManagerAcross both roles, you'll play a vital part in managing and growing employer accounts, supporting learner journeys, and identifying new opportunities to add value. You'll join a high-performing, supportive team working with SMEs to drive successful apprenticeship experiences.
As you progress, you'll take on increased ownership, strategic input, and account complexity - with each level offering clear development and increased earning potential.
Key Responsibilities & Role Expectations:
Account Manager
You're focused on delivering exceptional service to employers and learners alike, while growing your experience in sales and customer success. In this role, you'll:
Manage a portfolio of SME employer accounts
Aim for 4 apprenticeship starts per month
Serve as the main point of contact for your assigned clients
Identify and generate new opportunities through progressions, upselling, and cross-selling
Collaborate with internal teams and coaches to resolve learner or service issues
Ensure accurate client records and data tracking
Support strong learner completion and retention rates
Contribute to a positive team environment and service standardsSenior Account Manager
You're confident in independently managing accounts, solving challenges, and influencing positive outcomes for clients and learners. In this role, you'll:
Take ownership of a broader and more complex account base
Aim for 5 apprenticeship starts per month
Build strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers in your portfolio
Take a consultative approach to identifying employer needs and positioning solutions
Provide proactive account management, including regular reviews and growth planning
Escalate and resolve issues with minimal supervision
Coach junior team members and share insights to improve team performance
Maintain accurate account forecasting and reportingEssential Knowledge, Skills & Experience
A natural relationship-builder with integrity, reliability, and strong communication skills
Experience in account management, customer success, sales, or recruitment
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
Able to juggle multiple responsibilities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Strong organisational and negotiation skills

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000 (OTE £42,000 - £45,000) DOE.
