This Nursery based in Potters Bar focuses on delivering quality childcare services, and are committed to fostering a supportive and professional environment for both children and staff. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Nursery Practitioner to join them on a permanent basis, working Monday to Friday in Potters Bar.
Job Description
3. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities for young children.
4. Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
5. Support the emotional, physical, and social development of children in your care.
6. Work collaboratively with parents, guardians, and team members to meet children's individual needs.
7. Maintain accurate records and reports in line with organisational and regulatory standards.
8. Follow all safeguarding procedures and policies to ensure children's safety and well-being.
9. Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members when necessary.
10. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your childcare expertise.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Nursery Practitioner Level 3 should have:
11. A Level 3 qualification (or working towards) in childcare or early years education.
12. Experience working in a professional childcare setting.
13. Strong knowledge of safeguarding and health and safety requirements.
14. The ability to build positive relationships with children and their families.
15. A proactive and organised approach to supporting children's development.
