This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role where your expertise in sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) and surface water management will directly contribute to the success of diverse planning projects.You’ll be involved in delivering high-quality drainage strategies and designs across a range of sectors, including residential, infrastructure, and renewable energy developments.What You’ll Be DoingDesigning SuDS and drainage solutions, including calculations, modelling, and producing technical drawingsPreparing Drainage Impact Assessments and contributing to Flood Risk AssessmentsEngaging in client meetings, design workshops, and regulatory consultationsConducting site visits to gather data and assess drainage needsCollaborating with specialists in hydrology, flood risk, and ecologySupporting proposal writing and project bids within a multidisciplinary teamWhat We’re Looking ForAround 4+ years of experience in drainage or water engineeringStrong skills in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, and InfoDrainage (or similar tools)A degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related fieldSolid understanding of UK drainage policy and SuDS guidanceComfortable in client-facing settings and confident working independentlyFull UK driving licenceProgressing toward chartered status (e.g., ICE, CIWEM)Why Join?This role offers real variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a forward-thinking consultancy.
