Job Title: Financial Operations Assistant
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
The role will involve assisting in the coordination of global invoicing, settlements, and reconciliation of payments for international businesses. This will include working closely with internal teams and external partners, such as accountants and merchants, to ensure accurate and seamless processes across accounting platforms, VAT reporting, and financial reporting.
A key aspect of this role will be the processing of a UK payroll for approximately 50 employees. The successful candidate will also be responsible for collecting data for reconciliations, invoice payments, and preparing responses to accountants. Additionally, they will assist in the preparation of financial reports for the leadership team and support month-end closing and reporting activities.
In order to excel in this position, the successful candidate will require relevant financial qualifications and experience in settlement of multicurrency and international B2B bank settlements. They will also need to have experience of Xero and Quickbooks, as well as UK Payroll processing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to identify business-impacting incidents and escalate accordingly.
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a can-do attitude and the willingness to continually update their knowledge and skillset. They will also be able to prioritize workload effectively to identify the most important and urgent tasks.
