Hopkins Homes has an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor in our Bury St Edmunds office.
Duties include:
* Assist in preparing cost-to-complete documentation in line with the commercial timetable
* Handle internal or subcontractor queries or requests
* Assist in preparing reports, monthly accruals, cost analysis, contractor valuation assessments, and cost forecasting
* Update and maintain records and databases accurately
* Enter data into the in-house computer systems
* Arrange for documentation to be scanned and uploaded onto the system
* Archive completed documentation
* Maintain physical and electronic filing systems
* Perform any ad-hoc tasks as required
About The Candidate
* Relevant qualifications in Quantity Surveying
* Self-motivated with the ability to work cooperatively in a team
* Proactive in resolving problems
* Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills
* Ability to meet demanding deadlines
* Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, and Coins
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
