We currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Advisor to join the people team at our Head Office in Knowsley, Liverpool.

As a HR Advisor, you will perform a pivotal role by providing an effective and efficient HR advisory service. You will provide legally compliant guidance to support managers, senior leaders and other employees on a range of issues such as employee relations, policies and contracts in line with company policy.
Our HR Advisors are fundamental in establishing MJ Quinn’s working culture and embedding our values throughout the organisation.
Reporting to the HR Manager, you will have exposure to all areas of HR across the business including:
* Providing full HR generalist support to managers and employees, leading on employee relations casework, including disciplinary and grievance.
* Coaching managers in the areas of employee relations, policy and performance management .
* Engaging in ad hoc HR project work as required by the HR Manager or HR Director and contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems, policies and practices.
* Be an ambassador for company policies, procedures, and values.
Experience and skills:
* Previous experience of working in a HR generalist capacity and advising / coaching senior leaders.
* Experience of managing a demanding caseload, working to deadlines and the ability to prioritise workload.
* Substantial experience of handling complex employee relations issues.
* Up to date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills with a strong commitment to teamworking.
* Experience of working in fast-paced environment
* Strong problem solving, influencing and decision-making skills
* Meticulous attention to detail.
* CIPD L5 Qualified (Essential)
* Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Office, Teams, and experience using HRMIS systems
