Salary: £90 - £105 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time, term time only

We're looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-established specialist secondary school in Eccles, dedicated to supporting students aged 11-16 with a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
🔹 The Role:
Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Assist teachers in adapting lessons and resources to meet individual education plans (EHCPs).
Encourage communication, independence, and confidence through structured activities and positive relationships.
Support emotional regulation and behaviour management in a calm, consistent, and therapeutic manner.
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment.
🔹 You Will Need:
Previous experience working with young people with SEND (in a school, care, or youth setting).
A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to supporting students with complex needs.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping every child reach their full potential.
(Desirable) A relevant qualification such as a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant certificate or experience in Makaton, PECS, or Team Teach.
