Service Designer / Business Analyst - Audit Transformation & Gen AI
Robert Half is working with a major international consulting firm to appoint a Service Designer / Business Analyst for a high-impact transformation initiative within the internal audit function of a global banking group. This hybrid role blends process redesign and stakeholder journey mapping with classic BA skills, supporting the rollout of Gen AI and automation across audit execution workflows.
This is not a traditional BA role - we're looking for someone who can reimagine old ways of working, challenge legacy behaviours, and help embed modern, data-led and tech-enabled capabilities into the internal audit space.

Contract Assignment Details:
* Location: London (Hybrid - 1-2 days onsite per week, flexible)
* Start Date: July 2025 (interview and onboarding process expected to take approx. 2-3 weeks)
* Contract Length: Through December 2025 (with strong extension prospects into 2026)
* Rate: £450 p/day via PAYE (12.07% holiday pay accrued; employer's NI & tax already taken care of at source - unlike umbrella companies where these costs come out of your rate)

Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a strategic partner to internal audit teams, redesigning workflows and processes
* Map current and future-state user journeys, data flows, and controls
* Help embed digital tools, automation, and Gen AI into core audit processes
* Translate manual processes into efficient, automated workflows
* Collaborate with stakeholders across audit, tech, and transformation
* Support knowledge transfer and long-term capability uplift

Ideal Background:
* Blend of Service Design and Business Analysis experience
* Experience working within audit, assurance, governance, or internal controls
* Familiar with audit transformation or digital risk programmes
* Able to design end-to-end processes with measurable improvement in mind
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills across technical and non-technical users
* Exposure to data, automation, or Gen AI tooling highly desirable
* Bonus: Familiarity with ApianT or similar transformation support tools
