ABOUT YOU
The role of an Inspector with Intertek is to perform volume/temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, and reporting to ensure that the customer receives an independent, accurate, and complete assessment of the quantity and quality of materials during transportation. Materials can include Crude Oil, Petroleum Products, Petrochemicals and Petroleum Gases.
Required skills and experience:
* Full UK driving license
* Able to work with limited supervision
* Have excellent problem-solving and organisational skills
* Take responsibility for the care and upkeep of measurement and sampling equipment
* Excellent communication skills
* Full training will be provided
* Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including being prepared to work outdoors, at heights and in confined spaces.
* Prepared to work unsocial and unscheduled hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays in line with shipping movements which are 24/7-365 days a year
* Demonstrable competency on a range of IT platforms
