Our client is a well‑established, global market leader and has a permanent vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer. You will be required to deliver the very best technical support to customers. Within the role, you will be required to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, test products for customers or other subsidiaries, create various technical documentation, identify, develop and deliver training, and perform market research.
Responsibilities
* Deliver technical support to customers.
* Support technical inquiries and investigate product claims.
* Test products for customers or other subsidiaries.
* Create technical documentation.
* Identify, develop, and deliver training.
* Perform market research.
Qualifications
* Mechanical Engineering degree 2:1 or higher.
* Ability to plan and manage own projects.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Experience of writing technical reports and engineering documentation.
* Ability to work as part of a multicultural team that delivers results by consensus.
* Passport and driving licence required (some UK and European travel).
* Understanding of MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Desirable
* Experience in design of machined parts.
* Knowledge of CE, UKCA, UL and related standards.
* CAD, CAE basic knowledge.
* Basic Electrical Engineering knowledge.
