About the Role
Medacs Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join the Pennine Care NHS team. You will provide exceptional care to patients with various mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, eating disorders, paranoia, psychosis, schizophrenia, and more. Responsibilities include forming trusting relationships, monitoring health, administering medications, and offering emotional support.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop tailored support plans based on diagnosis
* Arrange ongoing support post-care
* Build trusting relationships with patients
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
* Advise relatives and carers
* Maintain accurate medical records
* Conduct physical health checks and administer medications
* Discuss therapies and social activities to promote wellbeing
* Manage workloads and shift patterns
* Promote mental health initiatives and reduce stigma
* Stay updated with best practices
Essential Qualifications
* NMC Registration
* At least 2 years post-graduate experience
* 6 months recent NHS experience within last 3 years
* Ability to pass an enhanced background check
