Advising Facility Managers on industry initiatives and product development, monitoring, and reporting on aquatics performance, and to drive income generation across all aquatics products and services to meet and/or exceed revenue goals. To be the lead for one of the below specialisms, attending relevant industry webinars and developing specific frameworks which will be adhered to throughout the company to provide good practice and consistency. To provide specialist knowledge and oversight on Swim England Learn 2 Swim Scheme of Work and School Curriculum scheme of work, to ensure that we have a consistent approach to delivery across the company. To provide specialist knowledge and oversight on National Pool Lifeguard Qualifications (NPLQ) and Trainer/Assessors, to ensure the company delivers consistent training plans across all sites, and we adhere to industry guidance for all our training and course delivery. To provide specialist knowledge and oversight for Swimming Instructor Recruitment and Swim Specific Volunteer Scheme, to ensure that we have a recruitment plan that maintains the right level of swimming instructors to meet our programme delivery across the company. Main Responsibilities Responsible for ensuring all internal and external swim teaching programmes are delivered in accordance with Brio Leisure product specification standards and delivery requirements. Responsible for your locality swim teaching programmes by ensuring that all classes and programmes are completed in a manner consistent with the relevant safe working practice as stipulated in their induction process. Responsible for identification of needs, development, introduction, and delivery of effective schemes aimed at retaining customers and introducing new members. Develop partnership links with local swimming clubs at senior and other levels. Line Manager responsibility for National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) Trainer/Assessors for both sites, in areas such as inductions and training rotas and assist with the coordination of training and development of the team through regular coaching and mentoring. Line Manager responsibility for the Aquatics Leads that work within your locality and overall responsibility for the swimming instructors that delivery the learn to swim scheme. Organise swimming programmes, events, and activities and introduce a programme of activities which are coordinated with key local and national partners. Responsibility for overseeing the delivery of the Brio Leisure Learn to Swim programme and related software user implementation. To assist in the marketing, publicity and promotion of your locality swimming programme and to support the Facility Manager and the Marketing Team in establishing excellent public and media relationship in relation to the Company’s swimming programme. Proactively contribute to the annual Marketing and Business Plan, making recommendations that will deliver the Company’s targets and objectives. Ensuring that the Brio Leisure brand standards are communicated and continuously comply with the commitments outlined in the customer charter ensuring that standards are maintained as stipulated. Support the Facility Managers in the effective use of its resources to generate new members and create a reputation of quality within the local community. Ensuring a balanced programme of activities, to formulate and implement a programme of swimming to ensure a good product mix within the existing membership groups and new target groups. Participate in the operational recruitment and induction of all swimming instructors in accordance with Company recruitment policy and Continuing Professional Development (CPD). Develop and maintain knowledge of swimming lesson market trends, competition and customers. Assist in the monitoring of customer statistics, management information, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports and statistics as required. Ensure that all partners are fully informed on a regular basis of the aims and outcomes of the swimming programme. Communicate and support the operational teams with specialist knowledge where necessary to assist in their responses to customers via sales calls, site visits and written communication. Attend meetings of related target and community swimming groups in line with the social agenda as required. Advise and implement on the maintenance and appropriateness of all site swimming programme ancillary equipment. Ensuring that all appropriate records for NPLQ, Amateur Swimming Association (ASA), Pool Safety Operating Procedure (PSOP) and National Rescue Award for Swimming Teacher and Coaches (NRASTC) and systems are in place and regularly monitored and implemented in line with current legislation. Deliver established Company training programmes or elements of and relevant initiatives to swimming instructors as required. Plan, review and implement operational procedures, management policies and regulations to ensure compliance with a schedule of performance criteria within the Company’s Integrated Management System (IMS).
