The ideal candidate will lead the business development activities, drive sales, and play a key role in generating new business. They will also manage marketing and customer service activities.
Responsibilities
* Prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within the UK market;
* Develop business and regulatory plans for the UK, achieving operational objectives;
* Identify opportunities from marketing leads, communicate with, and manage local partners;
* Report market information to headquarters in a timely manner;
* Collaborate with other departments to establish operational processes for the UK;
* Build brand awareness of the company and its products in the UK;
* Provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries.
Qualifications/Skills
* At least 2 years of experience in business development or sales in molecular pathology or IVD-related markets;
* BSc or MSc in Life & Science, Molecular Pathology, Clinical Medicine; MBA or PhD is a plus;
* Good knowledge of the local molecular pathology market; international and multicultural experience preferred;
* Excellent communication and presentation skills;
* Strategic and creative thinking with attention to operational details;
* Energetic, motivated to find new business opportunities quickly;
* Familiar with selling imported products in Europe;
* Fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
