Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care services in a home care setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the service, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing leadership to a team of care staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in senior care, including experience in assisted living and nursing home environments.
Duties
* Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans for clients, ensuring their needs and preferences are met.
* Oversee medication administration and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide leadership and support to care staff, fostering a positive work environment.
* Conduct regular assessments of clients' needs, including those requiring dementia and Alzheimer's care and other disabilities.
* Maintain accurate records of client care, staff performance, and service delivery.
* Liaise with healthcare professionals, families, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
* Ensure that all staff receive appropriate training and supervision to deliver high-quality care.
Skills
* Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home settings is essential.
* Strong background in nursing or senior care management.
* Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer's care practices.
