About This Role
We are seeking a Relationship Banker (SAFE) for our National Branch Network within the Consumer, Small & Business Banking division. This role is pivotal in building relationships and providing exceptional service to our customers. After completing the necessary licensing and SAFE registration, you will transition into the full Relationship Banker role.
Your Responsibilities
As a Relationship Banker, you will:
* Engage with customers to understand their needs and build lasting relationships.
* Identify opportunities to offer a full range of Wells Fargo retail banking products and services.
* Analyze business challenges and present solutions to enhance the banking experience for our valued customers.
* Open and service accounts, ensuring follow-up and scheduled contacts with customers.
* Collaborate with internal partners to enhance the customer experience.
* Connect customers with appropriate partners or relationship managers to meet their needs.
* Provide self-service digital banking options to customers.
* Comply with the SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act and related regulations.
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
* 2+ years of customer service experience or equivalent.
* 1+ year of experience in assessing customer needs and resolving issues.
* 1+ year of experience building effective relationships with customers and partners.
Desired Qualifications:
* Completion of FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 examinations (or equivalents).
* State Insurance license(s).
* Strong customer service focus with experience across multiple systems.
* Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to proactively manage customer relationships and provide tailored solutions.
* Experience in mentoring and coaching peers.
* Knowledge of retail compliance controls and risk management.
Working Conditions
* Ability to work a schedule that may include most Saturdays.
* Adherence to Wells Fargo’s sales practices and risk management culture.
* Current registration for FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 is required or must be completed within a specified period.
* State Insurance license(s) must be obtained within a specified timeframe.
* This position requires SAFE registration upon employment.
