Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant
Location: Streetly, Sutton Coldfield
Salary: £20,000 – £25,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00
Winner Education is seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Education Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about recruitment, safeguarding, and making a real difference in supporting schools across the region.
As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you will embark on a structured development journey — starting with resourcing and compliance, before progressing into a full 360 recruitment role. You will receive hands-on training, mentoring, and ongoing support as you learn how to build meaningful relationships with candidates and schools alike.
Key Responsibilities
First 6 Months – Foundation Stage
Source and screen high-quality candidates to match school requirements.
Write and post engaging job adverts across multiple platforms.
Conduct candidate interviews and ensure thorough vetting to APSCo Compliance+ standards.
Manage all aspects of the compliance process, ensuring safeguarding and legal obligations are met.
Build strong relationships with candidates, offering support throughout the onboarding process.
Oversee timesheet management, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
After 6 Months – Development Stage
Begin developing and managing your own client portfolio.
Carry out proactive business development through cold calling and networking.
Conduct school visits and build long-term relationships with headteachers and school business managers.
Manage existing accounts, ensuring exceptional service delivery and client satisfaction.
