As an Assistant Resource officer, you can make a real difference to a person's life by assessing them against the Care Act eligibility criteria, looking at ways to draw on their own strengths, exploring preventative solutions and empower people by signposting them to where they can seek support for themselves. You will explore creative ways to maximise people's independence and prevent or delay the need for longer term support.
This is also a great opportunity to gain the skills and experience to progress into a Resource officer role in the future.
We are looking for candidates who:
* Can communicate effectively with a range of people and quickly build a rapport
* Have a positive can do attitude and are committed to promoting the independence of the people we support
* Are a team player
* Have good documentation skills
