We are expanding and looking for a Laminator to join our Sheffield team. Our Laminators are responsible for the setting up, running, cleaning and maintenance of our lamination machine.
£25,500 to £35,000 per annum depending on experience + shift enhancement.
40 hours per week, Shift System Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
5. Set up & Operate specific Laminating Machine according to company laminating procedures and guidelines.
6. Identifies and ensures that proper materials and equipment are used for production
7. Manages pre-run testing of the material to ensure the correct coding weights and bond strength are applied
8. Runs the proper amount of material/footage to the job order
9. Completes proper checking of production and material
10. Correctly build up production orders and doctor blade assemblies
11. Perform all required quality checks prior to producing all production orders to ensure a product can be processed at the next stage of the manufacturing process.
12. Load and unload material from the laminators using defined equipment
13. Install/remove laminator sleeves as required for each production order.
14. Follow the production schedule as issued by production control
15. Follow equipment and workplace cleaning/sanitation procedures, to complete Sanitation checklist
16. Check first, middle and last piece conformance to specifications.
17. Enter data into Microsoft Dynamics
18. Perform daily and periodic preventative maintenance duties specified for assigned machines/equipment.
19. Maintain cleanliness of machines/equipment and adjacent work area to AIB standards.
20. Report quality issues to Production Manager for analysis and/or remedy
21. Report all Food Safety Violations to management

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
30. Proven experience in production, lamination and printing setting
31. Forklift operation desirable
