Full-time Permanent Position.
Basic Annual Salary Range £35,000 to £42,000 (Inclusive of Tronc).
Own transport (car or motorbike) essential due to rural location inGloucestershire .
Working 40-hours per week minimum (days / evenings / weekdays / weekends)
Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head Housekeeper to join our team in a prestigious hotel environment. The Head Housekeeper will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the property. This position requires strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality. The successful candidate will oversee housekeeping operations, ensuring that all guest areas are immaculate and welcoming.
MUST HAVE CURRENT EXPERIENCE AS A HOTEL SUPERVISOR / MANAGER LEVEL HOUSEKEEPER!
Responsibilities :
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet hotel standards.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Address any guest concerns or complaints regarding cleanliness promptly and effectively.
Implement health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
Skills:
Proven experience in a housekeeping role within the hospitality or hotel industry is essential.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage a team.
Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is advantageous.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organisational skills.
