Job Title: Senior Organic Social Media Manager
This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) as our Senior Organic Social Media Manager. The Senior Organic Social Media Manager will play a leading role in UNICEF UK’s Organic Social team, supporting the Head of Organic Social Media to deliver an engaging social media strategy across our channels, supervising two roles, and supporting the Head of Organic Social Media.
Responsibilities
1. Ensure content on our channels supports UNICEF UK’s strategic priorities and upholds our brand values and inclusive storytelling principles.
2. Maintain a keen editorial eye across copy and content, collaborating with team members and key stakeholders to deliver best practice social media content.
3. Apply audience insights and behaviour knowledge to inform decision-making in external and internal contexts.
4. Work in organic social media and communications within a complex global organization, managing risks associated with social media.
5. Collaborate across the organization, including with our Global Head Quarters.
6. Assist in crisis communications, including social listening, in collaboration with the team and during times of crisis.
7. Participate in out-of-hours and weekend work for large-scale events, and be part of the out-of-hours on-call rota.
