About the role

Would you like to combine your Air Traffic Engineering skills with life in a stunning island location?

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Air Traffic Engineer (ATE) to join our team monitoring and maintaining our suite of aerodrome Communications, Navigation, and Surveillance (CNS) equipment including VHF and UHF radios, surveillance (PSR + MLAT), approach aids (ILS, DME and NDB) and meteorological equipment in order to allow the safe, efficient and effective operation of Air Traffic Control at the Isle of Man Airport. This is unique opportunity to develop your career with a dedicated and professional team on our beautiful island in the heart of the Irish Sea.

Our Air Traffic Engineers work a shift pattern covering 7 days per week, 364 days a year covering the operational hours of the airport which will include early mornings, late evenings, weekends and public holidays.

To qualify for this role, applicants must, at the time of the application, hold:

* A recognised BTEC or armed forces qualification, e.g. HNC/HND level in a relevant electronic engineering, or CNS discipline.
* A UK CAA or IOM CAA Personal Training Certificate (PTC) or Air Traffic Safety Electronics Personnel (ATSEP) qualification with recent Airport CNS experience.
