AtkinsRéalis are looking to recruit a talented Architectural Part I Assistant to join our growing Cardiff team, as part of the wider Midlands, South-West and Wales Architectural Practice for a year long or permanent placement. AtkinsRéalis is a Stirling Prize winning, top 10 AJ100 practice, building on a culture of open collaboration and delivering excellence. We passionately believe that good design can positively transform people’s lives and strive to deliver the very best for our clients. Working as a fully integrated multidisciplinary practice, you will collaborate with Architectural, Engineering and specialist consultants across a myriad of fields.
Your role

* We are looking for candidates with a recognised Architectural Technologist qualification (or working towards) who have a passion for architecture and are hard‑working, ambitious and have a positive “can‑do” attitude to every challenge and opportunity.
About You
* Contribute to the successful delivery of complex, small, medium and large‑scale projects.
* Consistency and accuracy in all work produced are essential.
* Highly computer literate – skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite applications.
* Possess excellent presentation and communication skills both verbally and visually using software and hand‑drawing skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, organised and efficient with attention to detail.
* Ability to work effectively, efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
* Have a flexible approach to work with a positive and “can‑do” attitude.
* Self‑motivated and committed, able to work within a team and independently.

Security clearance
This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If required, this will be discussed at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
