We have an exciting opportunity to join our Showroom Development team, where you’ll play a key role in designing, optimising, and implementing physical store layouts that enhance customer experience, uphold brand standards, and drive commercial performance. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer with strong spatial awareness and a passion for creating shopper-centric retail environments. The role includes occasional travel to store locations. Training will be provided Key Responsibilities: Design, update, and manage detailed 2D and 3D store layouts, including fixture plans and customer journey flows Maximise sales and profitability per square metre through effective space planning Align store formats, layouts, and design principles with UK market trends and wider business strategy Take ownership of the store design and sign-off process, ensuring projects are delivered on time Collaborate with retail operations, commercial, and merchandising teams to develop customer-focused layouts based on shopper personas Analyse space utilisation and continuously identify opportunities for improvement Maintain accurate records and CAD libraries, including room usage and equipment locations Ensure all layouts comply with safety standards, environmental regulations, and building codes Support project managers with layout designs for new initiatives and store developments What Wren Offer: Quarterly Bonus Schemes 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays Staff discount on kitchens including family / friend discount Driver CPC Training provided 5 Yearly Medical provided and full expensed Full uniform and PPE provided Progression and Development opportunities About You Essential Skills and Knowledge: Excellent skill in Microsoft packages including Excel and PowerPoint Experience in retail space management, store design, or layout planning Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills Strong understanding of layout design, visual hierarchy, and spatial composition Software Proficiency: Strong skills in Revit or equivalent Experience with Sketchup desirable CDM 2015 course completion can be offered Ability to interpret commercial data and translate it into effective design solutions In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document.
