About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Painter & Decorator to join our commercial projects team. This is a permanent role based out of Chichester, working on the refit and refurbishment of large commercial buildings. The successful candidate will work across a variety of contracts, delivering high-quality finishes to agreed timescales and standards.
While the majority of work will be local, occasional travel away from home may be required, with the possibility of overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating to a high standard within commercial settings.
Prepare surfaces, apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and finishes in line with project requirements.
Work as part of a professional team on large-scale refurbishments and fit-outs.
Ensure health and safety compliance on-site at all times.
Maintain company vehicle and equipment in good order.
Represent the company in a professional manner when dealing with clients and site teams.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator, specifically within commercial environments.
Strong knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
Full UK driving licence (essential).
Flexibility to travel and stay away from home when required.
Reliable, professional, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.
