Role Brief
We are a clinically governed mental health provider that uses technology to widen access and improve outcomes. We are building out our Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner workforce to deliver Step 2 care within this model.
Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based low‑intensity cognitive behavioural interventions to adults experiencing mild‑to‑moderate anxiety disorders and depression
* Conduct structured assessments via telephone and video
* Deliver protocol‑specific interventions and make clinically sound stepped‑care decisions within a four‑step NICE‑aligned stepped‑care model
* Manage an active caseload within scope, ensuring appropriate risk management and documentation
* Participate in regular clinical case management supervision, structured case management, and ongoing CPD
Requirements
* Qualified PWP with BPS‑accredited Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert) or Graduate Certificate in Low‑Intensity Psychological Interventions
* Current registration with BABCP (Wellbeing Practitioner Register) or BPS (Wider Psychological Workforce Register)
* Minimum three years post‑qualification experience within NHS Talking Therapies or an IAPT‑equivalent service
* Demonstrable competence across the full range of NICE‑recommended LI‑CBT protocols: Behavioural Activation, Graded Exposure, Worry Management, Problem‑Solving, Panic Management, Sleep Improvement, and Guided Self‑Help
* Skilled in telephone and video‑delivered assessment and intervention as primary medium
* Confident working with standardised outcome measures: PHQ‑9, GAD‑7, and WSAS, with an understanding of reliable recovery and improvement benchmarks
* Commitment to regular clinical case management supervision (CCMS) and ongoing CPD
* Ability to manage an active caseload with strong organisation, documentation, and risk management skills
