An exciting opportunity has arisen at Minehead First School, which is part of Beacon Education. Trustees, staff, parents and pupils are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to work in our team. We are an Ofsted approved 'Good' school, teaching children from Pre-School to Year 4, located in the popular seaside town of Minehead with access to Exmoor National Park. This striking coastline makes West Somerset a delightful place to live and raise a family.
We are looking for a person who will share the school’s vision, values and journey for sustained improvement. We are also looking for someone who is able to:
1. Develop and implement an inspiring and engaging curriculum that meets the needs of all learners, in line with the National Curriculum.
2. Monitor and assess pupil progress, identifying areas for development and implementing effective strategies to support individual learning journeys.
3. Keep up-to-date with the latest educational research, developments, and best practices. incorporating these into school practice.
