* Monday to Friday: 7pm to 8am with a 30% premium payment
* Weekend: 8am Saturday to 8am Monday with a 50% premium payment
* Public/Bank Holidays: 8am to 8am with a 50% premium payment; time off in lieu is also applicable.
Role Overview: The job involves providing 24-hour coverage at an Approved Premises, including security, monitoring, and supporting residents. Responsibilities include contributing to risk management, reporting significant changes, maintaining safety, supervising residents, enforcing rules, and supporting their well-being.
The role requires substantial out-of-hours work, including night shifts and weekends, and may involve covering other premises as needed. All staff must demonstrate a commitment to equality and confidentiality in line with policies.
Responsibilities include:
* Effective team communication and collaboration
* Reporting risk issues during handovers and shifts
* Regular inspections and monitoring CCTV
* Maintaining a visible presence and engaging positively with residents
* Monitoring high-risk residents and managing behavior
* Contributing to risk management and sentence plan objectives
* Ensuring security during curfews and overnight wellbeing checks
* Supporting emergency and out-of-hours functions
* Adhering to health and safety procedures, including checks and searches
* Assisting with residents’ possessions and activities
* Supervising meals and conducting induction
* Following medication procedures and audits
