Summary This apprenticeship offers hands-on experience in the precast manufacturing process and involves coordinating design, manufacture, and assembly across major UK infrastructure and construction projects. As a project-led business, the location of our work can vary depending on project needs. This role may require you to be prepared to work away from home at project sites across the UK. 40 hours a week Start date Tuesday 1 September 2026 Duration 3 years Positions available 1 Work Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You’ll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience. Look inside our facility: https://youtu.be/CvBUAL8uRDI The Project Coordinator role will provide the development opportunity to experience first-hand the precast manufacturing process, and be responsible for coordinating between design, manufacture, and assembly on some of the UK's most exciting major infrastructure and construction projects. Where you'll work Explore Way Steetley Worksop S80 3FD Training Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills. Training provider UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF ESTATE MANAGEMENT Training course Construction site supervisor (level 4) Understanding apprenticeship levels (opens in new tab) What you'll learn Course contents Identify risk of activities and encourage all employees to demonstrate safety-conscious behaviours. Assess, identify and record the environmental impact of projects. Assist in the implementation of the most appropriate solutions for construction projects. Use effective management principles and be able to supervise construction workers. Understand overall plan for project and measure and record progress against plan. Assess and report on quality standards and assist in commissioning of finished construction projects. Understand financial and legal constraints and measure and record progress against budget. Training schedule The training schedule has not been agreed yet More training information Laing O'Rourke collaborates with the University of the Built Environment to ensure that our apprenticeships are given the best experience on site and in the University.
