The key responsibilities for the role of Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid Working) include:
Support month-end processes, including posting prepayments, accruals, and contract cost adjustments.
Process monthly cost recharges across contracts and overheads.
Summarise and analyse monthly and year-to-date spend against budget.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
Prepare monthly cost packs and support ad hoc financial reporting.
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Assistant Management Accountant (Hybrid Working) will have:
Previous experience in a similar finance role, ideally with exposure to management accounts or group finance.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with financial data.
Actively studying towards (or planning to start) a professional accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA).
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work accurately under pressure and to deadlines.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across the business.
