Chartsign is supporting a leading organisation in recruiting a Prototype & Evaluation Technician to join their dynamic team dedicated to PHEV, MHEV, and BEV vehicles. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and rectifying pre-production prototype vehicles used for real-world assessments. Your expertise in wiring, harness drawing interpretation, diagnostics, and fault diagnosis will be essential in ensuring vehicles meet the highest standards for launch and evaluation activities.
Responsibilities
* Inspect, maintain, and rectify pre-production prototype vehicles used for real-world assessments.
* Apply expertise in wiring, harness drawing interpretation, diagnostics, and fault diagnosis to ensure vehicle readiness for launch and evaluation activities.
* Conduct electrical/mechanical repairs and root cause analysis while delivering safety-compliant work.
* Support the team through detailed reporting and technical communication.
Qualifications
* Level 3 qualification, apprenticeship background, or equivalent experience.
* Knowledge of tools such as Topix, FMS, Salesforce, and IQM is highly advantageous.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and engage in problem-solving.
