Mode Executive is supporting a leading fine jewellery brand in the appointment of a Wholesale & Franchise Director. This is a senior commercial role with full ownership of the global wholesale and franchise strategy, focused on accelerating growth across established and emerging international markets while maintaining the integrity, positioning, and long-term value of the brand.
This role is based in London with flexibility to travel internationally, including up to five trips per year to Asia and the Middle East. The Wholesale & Franchise Director will report directly into senior leadership and work closely with internal stakeholders across merchandising, marketing, operations, and finance to deliver sustainable wholesale expansion.
The Role
* Define and execute the global wholesale strategy in line with brand positioning and long-term growth objectives
* Drive revenue, margin, and distribution growth across key international wholesale markets
* Lead and manage relationships with top-tier wholesale partners, distributors, and strategic accounts
* Identify and develop new wholesale opportunities, with a strong focus on Asia and the Middle East
* Own sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking across all wholesale channels
* Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, assortments, and regional exclusivities
* Partner cross-functionally to ensure strong execution across product launches, inventory planning, and marketing support
* Build, lead, and develop a high-performing wholesale sales team where applicable
* Provide clear market insights and feedback to inform product strategy and demand planning
* Represent the brand externally with key partners, ensuring consistent and premium brand execution
Requirements
* Extensive experience in wholesale and franchise leadership within fine jewellery or luxury goods
* Proven track record of driving international wholesale growth
* Direct experience working across Asia and Middle East markets, with strong regional knowledge and partner networks
* Strategic and commercial mindset, with strong analytical and negotiation skills
* Ability to operate at both strategic and hands-on levels in a dynamic environment
* Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities
* Flexibility to travel internationally, including up to five trips per year to Asia and the Middle East
