Deputy Headteacher Location: East Sussex Salary: Up to £46,790 (DOE) Contract: Full Time, Permanent - Term Time Only The School We are working with a specialist independent school in East Sussex that supports KS3, 4 & 5 pupils with SEMH and additional SEND needs with their education. The Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Deputy Headteacher to join a committed senior leadership team. This role is ideal for a qualified teacher with strong SEND experience across Key Stages 3 and 4, particularly within Science, Maths, and the wider curriculum who wants to progress into leadership, and move into a deputy head position. You will play a key role in driving high-quality teaching and learning, curriculum development, staff leadership, and pupil progress, using a therapeutic and inclusive approach.
