The Role
As a QA Analyst, you will be accountable for the continuous improvement of the quality of Tribal software through various test methodologies, so that customer expectations are surpassed.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Using automation frameworks to test Tribal SITs platform components, contributing to scalable and maintainable test automation across relevant product areas.
* Designing and execute manual test cases aligned with product specifications, ensuring functional accuracy and performing non-functional testing (e.g., performance, usability) where required.
* Collaborating on user acceptance criteria, offering insights that align testing outcomes with real-world user expectations and business goals.
* Assessing release readiness, providing clear, risk-based feedback to Scrum Masters and Team Leads, escalating concerns that may impact delivery timelines or product quality.
* Interpreting and applying test plans across workstreams/releases, integrating risk, scope, and priority into story-level test design and execution.
* Focusing on continuous improvement, identifying and implementing best practices that enhance testing efficiency and overall software quality.
* Partnering with developers and business analysts to understand the impact of new features and defect resolutions, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
* Supporting testing initiatives, engaging with customers in an advisory capacity to validate functionality and gather actionable feedback.
* Incorporating user personas into test design, ensuring that test scenarios reflect authentic usage patterns and deliver meaningful validation.
The skills you’ll bring:
* Educational background in technical, social sciences, or similar subject area.
* Commercial experience in Quality Assurance.
* Passion for career in HE focused Software Development.
It would be great if you had:
* Experience in Test Automation.
* Knowledge of the Higher Education sector.
