D365 Business Central / Jet Reports Consultant

We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Business Central Consultant to support a retail-focused implementation. This role will involve hands-on configuration, financial process support, data handling, and management reporting – with Jet Reports expertise as an essential requirement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver functional support and configuration within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, tailored to a retail and finance operating environment.
* Work closely with finance teams to ensure accurate setup of financial modules, including the general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation.
* Build, refine, and maintain Jet Reports to meet financial, management, and operational reporting requirements.
* Load and manage Configuration Packages, ensuring integrity across financial and operational data migration.
* Liaise with business stakeholders to gather and document financial and operational requirements and ensure accurate system setup.
* Support UAT, go-live readiness, and post-implementation finance reporting activities.
* Collaborate with teams managing stock, sales, purchasing, and finance to ensure seamless data and process integration.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Business Central Functional or Finance Consultant.
* Strong understanding of core financial processes within Business Central.
* Proficient in designing and delivering Jet Reports, including financial and management information.
* Hands-on experience with Configuration Packages and data uploads.
* Comfortable working in a retail environment, with knowledge of relevant finance and operational workflows.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
Desirable
* Understanding of stock and inventory accounting within Business Central.
* Exposure to Azure Queues / Azure Service Bus.
* Experience integrating Business Central with third-party retail or e-commerce platforms.
* Familiarity with Power BI or Power Platform tools for financial analytics.
