We are looking for a reliable, compassionate individual to support an adult male to meet his daily care, support needs, and to live as independently as possible.
About the Role
You will be part of a small team working in pairs providing support in the employers home and out in community.
Support will be person-centred and focused on maintaining dignity, choice, independence.
Duties may include
* Personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting.
* Assistance with mobility and transfers (training provided)
* Support with hydration (possibly medication as required)
* Domestic tasks to clean wet room, sleeping area, bed making, assist with laundry.
* Support employer and his wife in social activities, appointments, community access.
* Providing companionship and promoting independence to employer and his wife.
Hours and Pay
Permanent, part-time self‑employed role.
Hours flexible depending on your availability to do some calls.
* Morning 8.15-10.15am seven days a week.
* Evening 21.30-22.15pm seven days a week (paid as full hour)
* Exercise call 17.00-18.00 Mon-Fri
* Additional social time may be available to meet employers activities.
Pay – Starting at £15.00 rising to £16.50 per hour after two months satisfactory probation period.
Casual dress, on site free parking.
