Junior Commercial Manager (Manchester)
Location: Manchester
Role Type: Hybrid, 2 – 3 days per week in the office
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000
The Role
We’re looking for a Junior Commercial Manager to join our growing IT business and support the commercial management of customer and supplier contracts across their full lifecycle. This is a hands-on role with real exposure to contracts, stakeholders, and decision-making — ideal for someone early in their commercial career who wants to learn fast and progress.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting contracts from bid stage through delivery, renewal, and close-out
* Reviewing contracts and flagging key commercial terms, risks, and obligations
* Keeping contract data, trackers, and documentation accurate and up to date
* Supporting contract changes, renewals, and variations
* Helping ensure contracts align with commercial policies and governance
* Working closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Procurement teams
* Assisting with negotiations under guidance from senior colleagues
* Supporting commercial reporting, invoicing, and margin tracking
* Spotting risks, issues, and opportunities early and escalating when needed
What We Are Looking For
* Experience in a commercial, contracts, finance, legal, or business support role (including graduate roles or internships)
* A basic understanding of commercial contracts and how they work in practice
* Experience in a Commercial role within Technology/Software (desired)
* Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
* Confident communicator, written and verbal
* Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
