Electrical Project Manager – Data Centre

Our client, a leading Tier 1 MEP Contractor, is recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee the delivery of a major data centre project in Hertfordshire, scheduled for completion at the end of 2027.
As part of this highly respected organisation, you will take responsibility for managing all electrical aspects of the project, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate all on-site electrical activities
* Ensure compliance with project specifications, health & safety standards, and industry regulations
* Lead, support, and manage electrical teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
* Carry out inspections, quality checks, and monitor progress against programme
* Collaborate with project management, design teams, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues
* Provide regular progress reports, identifying risks, issues, and mitigation plans
Requirements
* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager or Electrical Construction Manager
* Data centre project experience is essential
* Strong understanding of electrical building services within large-scale MEP projects
* Ability to manage subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams effectively
* Excellent knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and industry regulations
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Ability to problem-solve and manage technical issues quickly and professionally
* Valid CSCS/SMSTS/First Aid certifications (preferred)
Salary & Package
* £90,000 - £100,000 base salary
