Role context
You’ll be working with children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder/Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Alongside the Head Teacher, you will set the vision for the future of the school, ensuring we have the right people and plans in place to see that our young people leave feeling proud of what they’ve achieved. You will need to be resilient and dedicated, and the huge small victories you achieve will be something you’re really proud of.

About the school
Hilden Park school is a purpose-built, state-of-the-art school catering primarily for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Asperger’s, and Speech, Language and Communication needs. The school provides education for up to 72 children aged 8 to 16. This opportunity serves Tonbridge and the wider communities; you can be at the heart of its development. Our aim is to ensure every pupil has an outstanding educational experience with individual pupil progress and care at the heart of what is offered.
