This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to be a part of a growing and innovative engineering business developing materials handling projects for customers across the food and beverage sector.
The Role:
From concept design and product development through to build support and commissioning, this varied position offers the opportunity to get involved in:
Designing bespoke machinery, automation equipment, conveyors and handling systems
Producing detailed 3D models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings using Autodesk Inventor
Developing practical, cost-effective and manufacturable engineering solutions
Supporting R&D activities, prototyping and new machine development
Working on sheet metal, stainless steel fabrication and automation-focused projects
Collaborating with production, service and project teams throughout the project life cycle
Providing technical support during machine build, testing and installation
Troubleshooting design and manufacturing challenges
Contributing ideas to improve machine performance, reliability and build quality
Supporting projects from concept through to customer delivery
The following experience would be particularly beneficial:
Conveyor design experience
Prototype testing and product validation
Stainless steel fabrication knowledge
Inventor 3D design
