Senior Housing Options Officer
Temporary Contract up to 12 months
Salary Grade 7 £37,938 - £40,476

We are seeking an experienced housing options/homelessness officer to work alongside the Housing Options Manager to supervise the day to day case management of the Housing Options Officer and provide technical and legal advice to officers in terms of their cases and decision making.
You will be knowledgeable in terms of the homelessness legislation and case law and have experience of carrying out homelessness reviews decisions. While not directly line managing the team you will hold regular case review supervisions and hold a small caseload of complex cases of your own.
Needless to say, you will be ambitious, capable of delivering great customer service, and driving excellence in terms of performance. You will be fully supported by the Head of Housing Solutions and Housing Options Manager in terms of direct professional support and investment in your own learning and development. In turn, you will provide suitable mentoring, guidance and arrange training for your team members. This role would suit someone looking to build management experience
