We are looking for an ambitious and motivated pharmacist to join our Surgical Clinical Pharmacy team within Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) on a part time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for delivering a highly specialised clinical pharmacy service to neurology and neurosurgery, sharing this responsibility with another experienced 8a level pharmacist already in post. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary teams within this specialist area with responsibility for the provision of pharmaceutical care across the bed base. Two days of the post will be neurology/ neurosurgery and the third within another area of the surgical clinical pharmacy team.
You will be an experienced pharmacist with excellent clinical knowledge and be able to work effectively as part of a team in a multidisciplinary environment. You will also be required to take an active role in the supervision and training of staff and students, to act as a role model and to participate in audit and research. This is an excellent opportunity to join our growing clinical pharmacy team where you will have opportunities to work as one of our growing team of over 55 independent prescribers within the Acute service who are taking on new roles as an essential part of the wider healthcare team.
This role includes a commitment to weekend working.
