A temporary opportunity has become at Prior Park College, Bath on a full-time or part- time basis (0.8 FTE).
The PE and Games department comprises a dedicated team of teachers and coaches, based in the Bury Sports Centre, an impressive purpose-built indoor sports facility on our stunning 57-acre site. Facilities include a large indoor sports hall, fully equipped fitness centre and swimming pool, as well as a large range of outdoor games facilities including astro, hard courts, playing fields and three cricket pitches.
Alongside highly popular Academic PE courses at GCSE and A-Level, the department supports a huge range of sports via the Games programme, with the core aim of enabling the widest possible participation across the school.
The Sports Practitioner is a student-facing role, working in the Sports Department to deliver Games sessions and PE lessons along with running sports fixtures with students across all year groups from L3 (Year 7) to U6 (Year 13).
Will have Strong knowledge and experience in at least one of Rugby, Hockey, Netball, Tennis, or Cricket (multi-sport experience desirable) and hold one or more sports coaching qualifications.
