Summary:
Join the Coastal North Social Care Team at the Waterloo Centre in Leiston as a Child in Need Social Worker. This role is crucial in providing support and assessments for children in need, ensuring their safety and well-being. You will be instrumental in conducting social work assessments, facilitating Child in Need meetings, and engaging in child protection efforts. This position requires a commitment of three days in the office per week for a six-month period.
Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive social work assessments for children in need.
* Facilitate and manage Child in Need meetings.
* Prepare and write Section 7 reports.
* Engage in child protection work to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Requirements

* Proven experience in social work, particularly with children in need.
* Strong ability to conduct assessments and manage meetings.
* Excellent report writing skills, specifically for Section 7 reports.
* Experience in child protection work is essential.
