Full Time – Maternity Cover
Required for 1 September 2025
Bamburgh School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher, with the main focus on English, from September 2025. The post will include teaching across key stage 3 and 4 and will include some teaching of maths and PSHCE.
We are a school for pupils aged 4 - 16 whose special needs cover a broad spectrum of medical, physical, social, emotional and learning difficulties.
You will be:
* Skilled at engaging and motivating pupils who find learning a challenge in this all age special school.
* Flexible and adaptable so you are able to meet the needs of our children.
* Committed to making learning experiences purposeful, relevant and engaging.
You must have the experience and skills necessary to work successfully with students with SEND and experience of teaching English in either a Primary, Middle or Secondary school setting.
