Job Description:
As a sporting coordinator, you will be responsible for the operational and sporting coordination of the Junior World Rally Championship. You will support the organisation and development of the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC), contributing to the strategic evolution of both championships and promoting FIA rallying worldwide. You will report to the WRC Category Manager.
Responsibilities include:
* Developing relationships with stakeholders (ASNs, organisers, WRC consultants)
* Managing championship registrations and event monitoring
* Overseeing accreditation and ensuring document compliance
* Proposing improvements to enhance the WRC and JWRC visibility
Event support – JWRC (up to 6 events/year):
* Acting as FIA Championship coordinator during JWRC events
* Assessing on-site conditions and reporting
* Serving as liaison with stakeholders
Delegate coordination and reporting:
* Communicating with FIA delegates and officials
* Supporting governance, regulatory, and seminar organization
Championship calendar management:
* Monitoring and reviewing calendar submissions
Communication and website management:
* Updating championship info and standings on fia.com
Profile:
* Degree in Sports Management or related field
* Strong rallying knowledge and experience in related roles
* Familiarity with FIA regulations and legal frameworks
* Fluency in English and French or Spanish
* Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus
* Excellent communication and organizational skills
