Our client, a well established company in the food manufacturing business, is looking for a candidate to join their team as a Sales Administrator Modern Apprentice. The role will be based in Cambuslang and support the team with day-to-day administrative duties.
Responsibilities
* Sales Order Processing: receive orders from customers and/or sales representatives, acknowledge receipt, coordinate with customers regarding MOQs, input orders into internal CRM, produce delivery notes, invoice customers daily, handle third-party transport providers.
* Data Management: record orders accurately, assist with credit term checks, arrange transport for deliveries, manage E.D.I. Orders and invoicing via separate software, run system in conjunction with internal CRM, invoice customers electronically.
* Telephonist & Receptionist Duties: professional handling of customer orders and enquiries, greet visitors, greet customers, complete day-to-day office duties to support the business.
* Stock Management Cycle: work with warehouse team to update CRM with accurate stock, complete stock spot checks weekly, maintain and adjust product stock levels to reflect actual stock.
* Development: learn to communicate effectively with clients, use company internal CRM system, execute invoicing, progress towards a Modern Apprenticeship in Business Administration.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Strong IT skills essential for day-to-day duties.
* Confident communicator both written and verbal.
* Willingness to learn and develop.
