Job Details:
* Salary: £10,266.89 - £11,099.19 per annum
* Hours: Part-time, 15 hours per week, Monday – Sunday, inclusive of bank holidays
* Service: Rowan House, Littlemore
What You'll Be Doing:
As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to residents with serious mental illness. You will work with residents to enable them to achieve and sustain a rewarding life in the community, promoting independence, well-being, and the ability to manage their own mental health.
Core Duties:
* Provide emotional support, encouragement, and practical assistance to residents with daily living activities
* Foster a supportive and empowering environment that promotes residents' independence
* Support and monitor clients' physical and mental health
* Ensure daily paperwork is completed
* Comply with all Health and Safety measures
* Work with residents using a trauma-informed approach
The Successful Applicant:
We are looking for someone who can live our values every day – Caring, Safe, Creative, and Aspirational. You will have:
* GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
* A commitment to undertake continual personal development
* IT literacy with experience using MS Office packages
* Good communication skills
* Ability to provide non-judgemental, emotional, and practical support to residents
* A genuine interest in mental health and well-being
